I was on an airplane traveling back from Las Angeles last week. In LA, I had lunch with two very successful men. In conversation, I was talking about my desire to write a book.
I was asking advice and the man I was with who has written several successful book. He noted that “you have to get into the flow.”
This got me thinking about flow. What is it and how do we find it?
In this episode, I go over the 5 different types of brainwaves, and which of those brainwaves can help you get into a state of flow.
- Delta waves (.5 to 3 Hz) Delta brainwaves are slow, loud brainwaves (low frequency and deeply penetrating, like a drum beat)
- Theta waves (3 to 8 Hz)
- Alpha waves (8 to 12 Hz)
- Beta waves (12 to 38 Hz)
- Gamma waves (38 to 42 Hz)
I pulled a lot of information from an article below.
