I was raised in a blue collar family. Growing up, I loved to skateboard, read books, play sports, and watch The Eagles with my dad.
These days, life is pretty great. I live a simple life. I basically do the same things over and over again. I love to write, build businesses, go hiking with my squad, fight Muay Thai, and make cash money.
Here’s some more about me. I hope we can get to know each other.
Sobriety:
I got sober on March 4, 2010. I had a terrible addiction problem, I was always in trouble with the law, and I couldn’t stay out of jail. Sobriety, and a relationship with my higher power, gave me a framework for how to live a good life and be a good person. Without my sobriety, everything else falls apart.
I founded a company called Sober Nation, and I am committed to helping addicts and alcoholics escape addiction and get the help they need.

Family:
In the end, what else do you have other than your family? My wife’s name is Juliana. She’s my best friend. She owns her own business called Somatic Jules. She’s a breathwork practitioner, a somatic coach, and a psychedelic guide. You should do a breathwork session with her. It’s life changing.
We have two kids. The Sweet Girl is an absolute psychopath. She’s like a rabid raccoon. The Little Dude is gentle and kind. He’s a little monkey, swinging branch to branch and enjoying every second.
We also have a pitbull named Alice. We’ve lived all over, but we currently reside in Denver, Colorado.
Business:
I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life. As a kid, I would cut grass in the neighborhood. When I graduated high school, I did contracting and started my own general contracting business.
In 2010, when I got sober and moved to Florida, I started my first internet business called Sober Nation. Sober Nation has been extremely successful, and it’s how I got my start.
From there, I built many businesses in the behavioral healthcare space and established myself as an industry leader.
Currently, I am building another lead generation agency called Quantum Leads. In addition, I run a profitable media brand called TimStodz Media, where I host The TimStodz Academy and teach entrepreneurs how to build a profitable business.
The truth is, I make most of my money now by investing the cash flow I generate from my agency into other businesses. You can view my investment portfolio here.
Fitness:
My wife and I love to work out. I enjoy lifting weights, but most of all, I love fighting Muay Thai.
Thai fighting is a beautiful art form that teaches discipline, perseverance, breath control, respect, and self protection. I find my greatest moments of peace are when I am feeling the most suffering.
That’s part of the human condition, I think.

When I first started growing my online business, I found a website called Copyblogger.
(Fun fact: I actually bought the company and now I am the owner of the same company that helped me get started.)
Copyblogger was my education. I would read Copyblogger every morning and then apply what I had learned to Sober Nation. Since then, I’ve leveled up my skills and built multiple 7 and 8 figure businesses with SEO, content marketing, advertising, and great writing.
I had heroes like Seth Godin, Brian Clark, and Ramit Sethi.
I would learn from them from afar, and now it is my hope that I can help other aspiring entrepreneurs by sharing what I know and giving freely to be of service to you.
