Abbey is exactly the kind of person who I love to have on this podcast. I felt so good and full of positive vibes after speaking with her.
Abbey is a personal trainer and fitness expert. We talked in depth about what she thinks it is that makes a personal trainer worth while. We went into the two sides of fitness and personal training and how providing the accountability is equality as important as providing the know how and the skill set behind the exercises.
We talked about diet and Abbey told me about some of her conspiracy theories behind the food industrial complex.
Finally, Abbey and I got real personal about body image and about how comparing ourselves to other people will always lead to insecurities. Abbey talked about some of her experience with an eating disorder and we spoke very openly about those topics.
She is a brave woman for talking about some of these things so openly and I really appreciated her opening up in the way she did.
