I gave up alcohol on the 1st April, the day after my 58th birthday.
I know I should have done it ages ago, in fact during 2023/2024 I gave up for 10 months, so I know I can do it.
This time, I'm quitting for good, I'm heading into the last third of my life and want to be as strong and fit as I can...so I'm at the gym, alcohol is out and from the 1st May, I'll be cutting right back on carbs too.
