Yesterday, I had a long talk with Darren.
Darren is a great friend and acts as a mentor to me in many ways. He’s an old soul, and I always take his words seriously.
After our conversation, I came to some important conclusions.
Today, I want to go through some of these realizations and explain why I’m shutting down The Launchpad.

I’m Doing Too Many Things At Once
I’m different. This has always been both a gift and a curse.
I’ve never fit in with my peers (except for other recovered drug addicts like me), and I’ve always carried an energy that keeps me moving at a high intensity. In many ways, this has been a blessing because it’s helped me create opportunities and build things that others wouldn’t have been able to.
But it also has a shadow side. I have a hard time letting things be. My mind is always chasing the next project, the next idea, the next win. All of my partners can attest to this. I have to work hard to keep my thoughts under control and stop myself from spinning off in different directions.
That’s the tricky part of constant growth. It drives you forward, but it can also pull you apart.
Creating my community has been an amazing process, and I don’t regret it. After selling my stake in Stodzy, I went through an identity crisis, and building The Machine Method gave me purpose again.
Through it, I developed valuable intellectual property and built a complete system for lead generation, sales, and growth.
I’m proud of what I created.
But now, it’s time for me to take a step back, reorganize, and rebuild the product so it can become truly world class.
That realization helped me see something deeper. I’ve been spreading my energy too thin, and it made me ask an important question.
What am I truly world class at?
Living Within My Zone Of Genius
With humility, I know I’m intelligent. I have a sharp mind and a strong memory, even if I can never find my keys. I’m capable of many things.
But the place where I thrive, the work that feels natural to me, is high ticket marketing and sales.
I love it.
I know how to find leads and close big deals. It’s what makes me valuable, because I have a skill that everyone needs and very few people have.
Somewhere along the way, I made the mistake of building a product that appealed to everyone. I subconsciously built something for everyone instead of for a specific avatar.
I did it because I want people to succeed. I want to help as many as I can. But build a low ticket product that appeals to the masses IS NOT the way I can best serve the world.
I can best serve the world by teaching entrepreneurs, especially agency owners, coaches, and freelancers, how to build brands, book calls, and close big deals.
That’s always been what sets me apart.
In fact, I feel more comfortable selling thirty thousand a month deals for Quantum Leads than I do selling a seven hundred dollar course for The Machine Method.
So I am going up market.
The Big Change I Am Making
Here’s the plan.
I’m going to keep building The Machine Method. If you already bought access to either The Launchpad or Sales Training, you will keep your access. I’ll continue hosting the weekly coaching calls for my Sales Training students, and those students will be grandfathered into the new program.
Launchpad students will keep access to their courses, but they won’t be grandfathered into the new version when it launches.
Going forward, everything will be bundled into one program simply called The Machine Method.
The program will teach the most valuable skill there is.
Generating leads and closing high ticket deals.
Access to the full program will be ten thousand dollars.
The Launchpad already has three complete courses that teach people how to build a local Google business agency, a newsletter, and a directory. Those courses will stay and will likely be offered as bonuses.
But the main focus will be simple.
Learn how to generate leads and close big deals.
I’m Taking A Step Back To Take Two Steps Forward
Making this decision has brought me relief.
Over the last seven months, I’ve lost sight of what I do best. I’ve spent too much time building a program for everyone instead of focusing on what matters most.
I’ve been working when I should be with my family. I’ve let small and unimportant tasks fill my days. I’ve skipped workouts, skipped breathwork, and carried anxiety instead of clarity.
And for what?
I should be working less and earning more by focusing on what creates the most value for the most people with the least stress.
That’s the truth of it.
This next chapter is about doing fewer things with greater intention.
