I came across a great piece of advice from Hormozi this morning.
I want to share it with you and give my insight. It’s called the 1-1-1 framework.
Why Most Entrepreneurs Need The 1-1-1 Framework
The idea is that when you start a new business, or even when you’re trying to grow your existing one, you need to strip everything down to the basics.
Most companies fail to get any real traction because they overcomplicate things. What usually happens is that you start your business, hit a plateau around $5000 a month, then see someone else having success with a different idea. You assume they know something you don’t, so you pivot. You switch up your offer. You try something new.
I call this the hero’s fallacy.
Believe me, most of that noise is just people trying to sell you courses.
Still, it’s very common to start stacking on more offers, products, or services before you ever needed to.
That brings us to the framework.
Explain The 1-1-1 Framework
Here’s what you need to know.

For most of us, this means building a marketing agency. The clearest example would be a local SEO agency, like the one I walk through in The Launchpad.
So for example:
Offer: $2500 a month local GBP and onsite SEO service
Avatar: Roofing contractors
Marketing channel: A weekly YouTube show that generates leads from roofers
This framework helps you keep it simple and stay laser focused on what matters most. In the beginning, what matters most is focus and singleness of purpose.
What’s more, most people totally underestimate how much opportunity is really out there. I can’t tell you how many of my students say things like “but there’s already a lot of people doing that.”
I assure you, whatever business you’re thinking of starting, there is more than enough opportunity. You don’t need to widen the net.
How I Used The 1-1-11 Framework
This is exactly what we did at Stodzy. Our framework was:
Offer: $4000 a month onsite SEO
Avatar: Drug rehab owners
Marketing channel: Onsite SEO
We did the same thing over and over again for the same type of customer. We generated all our inbound leads through SEO. We didn’t offer any additional services until we passed the $1M mark.
I’m doing the same thing for Quantum Leads, and I’m doing the same for The Machine Method.
