Thanks and welcome to the course (I don’t have a name for it yet so I’m going to call it “the course.”)
By the time you are finished with this course, you will see the value in creating an agency. In addition you will have the skillset and the knowledge required to make your agency successful and create systems that will keep you from getting burned out from the “agency grind.”
Agencies are great businesses. They are lucrative, fun, challenging and profitable. Considering the demand for great marketing and content creation is higher than ever, there has never been a better time to create an agency.
Traditionally, agencies aren’t run with efficiency. There is a lot of waste, mismanagement and missed opportunities for leverage. In this course, you will learn how to apply different techniques to ensure that your agency business doesn’t trap you underneath it, but rather, you use it as an asset that brings scale, leverage and new opportunities to your life.
Great, so let’s get down to some basics.
This course consists of 5 modules. Each module is broken down into different lessons with a combination of video, audio, written word, worksheets, quizzes and case studies.
Module 1 – Why Should You Build a Service Agency?
With so many different business models to chose from, what makes agency work so appealing? There are some clear downsides to owning an agency, so why go through all the trouble when you could go directly to the more exciting and “sexy” businesses such as software companies and product development?
In this section we will go over the practical reasons why an agency is an amazing business to start, ESPECIALLY for young people who want to take the dive into entrepreneurship.
Module 2 – How to Stand Apart from the Rest
The death of most agencies is in the generic nature of them. Agency owners want to take all the work they can get, and it’s understandable considering the purpose of any agency is to get clients and make money.
But in many cases, this is a race to the bottom. When you’re generic, the only differentiating factor between you and the next agency is price. Your only option is to lower your prices to give you an edge up.
To be truly successful, you need to stand apart so that clients approach you and you set the terms of price.
Module 2 will show you exactly how to get there.
Module 3 – Getting Sales and Winning Business
Why do businesses fail?
Poor management? Bad employees? Bad luck?
Businesses fail because they run out of money. In almost every case, a business will fail because it either goes underwater, gets buried in debt, or has to file for bankruptcy.
Module 3 is all about making that cash money. This is critical for the success of your agency.
The reality is that sales and money make people very uncomfortable. There is a harmful undertone that sales are manipulative or that sales people or full of schemes.
This couldn’t be further from the truth. Sales isn’t about being a smooth talker, it’s about developing a system of demand. Every agency needs to make sales. So how exactly do you go about doing this? How do you close new deals?
In module 3, I will teach you exactly how I built a 7 figure agency with no sales team and without ever spending a dime on advertising. No, not even once.
Module 4 – Hiring, Systems and Process
Why is it that some agencies flourish and thrive while other agencies just stay afloat?
Why do some agency owners get to take month long vacations while others slave away at the office for years while sacrificing their health and their relationships?
The answer is more simple than you would think. The answer is systems.
Agency owners have a hard time getting out of the day to day grind of their business, and so they never implement the systems and processes that create leverage and scale. Without systems in place, you will always be stuck in the mud.
Implementing systems and processes is boring, grinding, and not exciting at all. But if you get this step right, you will create a system where the agency works for you as opposed to you working for it.
In module 4, I will teach you the exact systems to implement so that you can travel and take vacations and go to the gym at lunch while still getting paid and not stressing about the state of business.

At this point in the course, you will have a good understanding about what it takes to start, build, scale, and automate your agency business.

If a steady paycheck and a little bit of freedom was the end of the line for me in my agency, I wouldn’t still be doing it. The reason why agencies are so exciting is because they open up new possibilities for you and your future. Without these opportunities of excitement in the future, you will never blossom and truly become wealthy.
In order to take advantage of these opportunities, you have to train yourself to stop working in your business and start working on your business.
In module 5, I’ll teach you how to use your agency as a starting point for massive success.
You’ll learn how to use your agency as a bargaining tool to get equity in exciting new companies. You’ll learn how to use the leftovers from your agency to start new companies, and do so without having to spend up front capital or take big risks.
