You do what you can.
Like most men, I don’t like to put myself in “vulnerable” situations. My business coach was picking up some negative vibes from me and she knows me well enough to know that isn’t part of my general day to day personality.
Finally, she asked me what my deal was.
I told her about my back. I told her that I haven’t been able to work out in more than a month. I told her that I am feeling bad about my body and that it is driving me crazy because I can’t burn off all this restless energy I carry around with me.
She reminded me that it’s okay to do a little bit. It doesn’t have to be such an all or nothing mentality.
You do what you can. You move forward each day, even if it’s just one step at a time.
