I have an important announcement.
The daily blog is officially coming to an end. There are a few reasons why I am changing course, but the biggest reason is that I don’t feel like writing a daily blog post is the best way for me to help the people I wish to serve.
Some nights, I catch myself writing about things that I don’t really care about, simply because I felt obligated to the people who read my blog every morning.
I want to do meaningful work that truly has an impact on people’s lives. After many months (years) of consideration, I have decided to move towards a new course.
I truly appreciate all of you. Thank you for listening to my ideas, my viewpoints, my experiences, my teachings, and my musings. It has been a great experience, but it’s officially coming to an end.
What will be replacing the daily blog?
Don’t worry, you will still be receiving goodies from me. Most notably, I will be sending out a weekly newsletter every Friday. I will dig through the internet looking for the week’s best resources to help you build an amazing business and live an incredible life.
With that being said, this is the first edition of the weekly newsletter. Simply put, this is The Weekly.
Let’s do this!
1. The Tim Stodz Academy is in Full Effect
I’ve wanted to create my own membership program for years. I’ve obsessed over it, I’ve dreamed about it and finally, the program is taking off.
I’ve struggled with self-doubt and limiting beliefs, but after hours of conversation with my wife and my business coach, I’ve finally started believing in myself.
I’ve built, co-founded, or invested in 7 profitable companies. I know what I’m doing. I have every right to share my knowledge with others and other people on their entrepreneurial journey.
We are creating highly valuable courses, networks, training programs, and educational material to help others build profitable businesses that serve the world.
Currently, we are accepting entry-level members to the academy. I highly encourage you to join as the price will definitely be going up in the near future.
2. How to Motivate People to Buy
My friend and partner, Brian Clark, wrote a brilliant article on what is actually happening when people buy from you or your business.
So much is said about people “buying with emotions,” but what does that actually mean? Are we wanting to anger people? To make them feel sad? What exactly are we trying to make them feel?
It could be much simpler than that. This article will clarify how to format your business to spark a want or desire from your customers.
3. Automatically Create Emails for Sales?
I haven’t tested it since I no longer have a Shopify store, but it sounds like this product can automatically create email templates for your Shopify products and help you boost your sales.
It’s worth looking into.
4. You Can’t Put a Price on Self Worth
No matter what I do, I can’t seem to get my iPhone to stop automatically playing Barbar Corcoran’s podcast when I start my car.
Barbara, you may be my favorite shark, but I wish you would let me start my car in peace.
This morning, however, one of her recent episodes came on and this time I didn’t change it. In fact, I really enjoyed this episode.
I will be sharing Professor Scott Galloway’s work often in my newsletter. He is one of my favorite writers. His writ and his intellect are second to none.
He wrote a brilliant article about the changing landscape of investment capital. We may finally be heading away from “growth capital” and moving closer towards a culture that actually invests in business that turn a profit.
I started a fitness YouTube channel. Now that I am almost fully recovered from surgery, I can hit these workouts a bit harder.
Join me in a 20 minute Tabata workout.
P.S. – I’m still working on the quality. It will get better.

Quote of the Week
“One day your parents picked you up, sat you down, and never picked you up again.”
As we head into November, now is the time of year when people start to slow down. We start to take it easy during the holidays.
I challenge you to maintain focused and push through these next couple ofweeks. You can take a break soon, but not yet.
