Our work at JourneyPure is going really well. Our systems are sound. Our traffic is up. Our brand is growing. We are helping more and more people treat their drug and alcohol problems.
We’re revolutionizing treatment. I’m honored to be a part of it.
I called a team meeting today. I was giving everyone the good news, showing them our month over month growth rates.
I asked everyone if they had any questions.
One of my teammates spoke up. He said that he wanted to know more about the people that we serve.
I asked him to clarify what he meant.
He said that…
I want to see more of the the good we do.
When you work in a digital realm, you sometimes lose track of the people on the other end of that screen. We get so wrapped up in the traffic numbers and the graphs and the metrics that we lose sight of the people. The living, breathing people who are on the other end. The people that are seeking us out for help.
How are you helping people? How are you serving them? What is your connection that bridges the gap between the screen and the face to face?
I must remember to take account of that. The people we serve are the legacy we leave behind.
