Stodzy has been going through some changes. It’s all very exciting. I made a commitment to be patient with these changes and fight against my propensity to look for instant gratification.
These are serious changes with serious consequences, so it’s worth taking my time.
For the last 7 years, Stodzy has been the leading digital marketing agency in the addiction treatment / behavioral health space.
We have had boatloads of success, failures, celebrations, amazing experiences and lessons learned.
But we are due for a rebirth. Here’s what I’ve been quietly working on.
New Industries Served
I believe that the biggest opportunities for my company exist within the healthcare space. In many ways, the healthcare space remains very archaic. Healthcare agencies still rely on brand recognition, TV, radio, billboards and relationships to bring in new patients.
For whatever reason, most healthcare professionals haven’t learned how to adopt the right digital marketing techniques to grow their companies. This is true for the multimillion-dollar hospital conglomerate, just as it’s true for your local dentist or dermatologist.
With all that said, Stodzy is and will be transitioning from an agency that works specifically in behavioral health, to an agency that works within the healthcare space as a whole.
New Site Design
Over the past few months, David and I have been carefully and meticulously rebuilding the website. When we first built our site, we wanted to look “techy.” We wanted our site to express how cool we were. (I’m finally at a place in my life to admit that I am not as cool as I wish I was).
It was great for what we needed, but now I feel it’s time for us to level up.
What’s the expression? A carpenter’s house is never finished? A shoe makers son has no shoes? Well, the same is true for websites. When you spend so much time developing websites and brands for other companies, it is easy to neglect your own website and brand. I’m finally dedicating the time and the money to bring us up a notch.
Our new site will clearly outline the new industries we are going to work in, it will cater to the demographics of clients we intend to work with, and it will have cohesive and consistent brand recognition throughout all our materials.
I’m excited about this. The Stodzy site gets a fair amount of inbound search traffic for highly competitive search terms. It’s time that we transition our website to show the level of work we are truly capable of.
High End Media
In the same way that we see openings within the healthcare market, we see even bigger openings within the healthcare media space. There are hardly any companies producing high-end content and media around what is happening within the healthcare industries.
Our goal will be to teach. We want to teach people exactly what they can do to grow their own companies. We want to keep people informed of changes within the industries. We want to build a community of professionals who are passionate about improving their lives by helping other people.
How many dermatologists, private physicians, natural health physicians, testosterone clinics or even physical therapists are out there, trying to find ways to grow their business and find more people to work with and to help?
It’s hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people.
My goal is the same as it has always been. I want to add value to people’s lives by teaching them the tactics and strategies they can use to work on growing their healthcare business.
I believe that Stodzy 2.0 is bigger than just a marketing agency. Ultimately, we will be a media platform that works within a market that is underserved and it still archaic in the way it approaches spreading information.
