I want tangible results. Yesterday.

Whatever you do, let's make it happen and do this!

I'm gonna do it. The feedback seems pretty overwhelmingly positive for a yes.

I like Dustin joined because of your focus only a few months ago was on building directories. I left the incubator because I feel you failed to provide value for this subject. I wish you the best in whatever you decide.

I like the idea of the membership being more focused on building an agency. But would it be strictly GMB, or will you talk about other opportunities? You mentioned "helping people build an agency or coaching business" - so would this be broader than just teaching us how to build a GMB agency? I'm also interested in the directory business, so I'd hate to see that not be included. Thanks Tim.

Not just GBP. An agency in general.

I'm happy to learn about GMB and Directories but....and this is only the fault (style) of Substack....don't you get lost in the way that your followers questions are listed?

I've seen questions asked, you comment/ask for for info, then the OP comments back with the answer to your statement/question but then it gets left...maybe you don't get a notification that they've replied to you again.

For me, the info is great but at times, if I'm catching up on questions and answers...I find it frustrating when someone asks a question that I'd have and then it's left in the air...floating... waiting for you to come back, but probably due to the way Substack is set up....you never see the gap on the QandA

Still, I'm looking forward to what you come up with.

Cheers.

I agree. Combining your expert, laid back approach within a structured deliverable is actually a differentiator. People can then decide which part to lean into - the sweet spot, structured courseware, or the laid back, expert commentary.

Thanks. I def have to stay laid back if I do it. Between work, the kiddos, being a husband, training Muay Thai, and somehow eating in between there's no way I have space to go all in super intense on another thing. But the longer I do this, the more I think people actually like the laid back approach that is me. :)

Exhibit A, your Honor..."If there’s one place where I can provide real educational value, it’s here. So why wouldn’t I do it?"

I'm here mostly for the GBP direction, so to drill down in that would be 🔥

Good to hear. That model has generated me SO MANY clients over the last 10 years. It's so simple. I'll definitely incorporate that.

I think the GMB part sounds like it’s working well for you. Just don’t forget about us who signed up to incubator to learn about building online directories!

It’s a super hot topic right now and you are one of the OGs in the space with lots of knowledge that we would like to learn.

Directories would be part of it. I didn't forget about you brother it's a lot of content to create. I'm dripping it in day by day.

But thank you for the feedback I promise I am working on it.

It’s all love! I’m looking forward to learn more from you about online directories.

In the meantime how would you suggest those of us who are in the incubator to approach you for guidance regarding directory building?

Hey Tim, I recently joined mostly out of curiosity as I like your YT content.

I already have an agency selling FB ads to local businesses, but I've found them to be a bit of a headache market for execution and retention as they don't really know/care much about marketing, they see it as necessary evil and second place to referrals.

Adding GBP management as a second service makes a lot of sense for me so I'm interested to see what you come up with.

One thing I will say is I think substack is a bad platform for business content/community. The main feed reminds me of Tumblr and not in a good way. I think this community would make a lot more sense in a Telegram group.

Go all in Tim. Consolidate what you’re focused on. We all win. I already got one client signed up. And in a week or so I’ll know if what I learned from you in the past two weeks will work for others. It has already boosted my local profile. So give us everything you got Agency wise!

A drill-down into GMB would be great if it comes with guidance on directories.

I actually asked you this question on one of your YouTube videos. It wasn’t clear what the Incubator was about—I got the impression it was loosely related to building directories, and I wasn’t interested in creating one. I have a very specific industry I am in and the end users are brick and mortar, so I'd be more interested in GBP and if you ceritified it - that would be even better!
