Enjoying the Autumn Leaves
Growing up in Philly, I always loved the fall. Fall meant that the Eagles were on TV. Fall meant soccer season. Fall meant it was time to switch to hoodies and Timberland’s.
More than anything, fall meant we could watch the leaves change.
In Florida, you lose the seasons. Personally, I loved the year round heat and the smell of salt in the air, but I did miss watching the leaves change.
One of the great things about living in Nashville is that we are surrounded by trees. But each year, it seems like the leaves fall faster and faster. If I don’t stop to appreciate them, they will be gone before I know it.
This morning, I poured my coffee and looked for birds like I do most mornings. I noticed that the leaves looked so beautiful.
I plan to enjoy each day before the trees become baron.
