Better Late Than Never
This is the first post since I started daily blogging that I didn’t publish first thing in the morning.
Since I’m feeling better, I wanted to start this new year off on a good foot. So I got back to my usual routine of waking up, getting my coffee, writing my inventory in my notebook and then reading for 20 minutes.
I got so jacked up that I forgot to write my blog post lol.
Anyway, here I am… showing up, even if I’m late, even if no one will read it.
At the beginning of every year, I read the same book. I’ve read this book each year since I first read it in 2011.
The book is Think and Grow Rich.
This book is tied for “most influential books in my life.”
Since you asked, it’s a three way tie between Think and Grow Rich, The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, and Fight Club.
But I digress.
Point is, everyone should read this book. Anyone that wants to truly learn how success is manifested should read this book. More importantly, they should apply the principles of this book into their lives.
That’s what makes a book great. It’s not about what you learned, it’s about what you do.
After I read the Big Book, I started applying the principles into my life. The same is true with Fight Club (you are not you’re fucking khakis) and the same is true with Think and Grow Rich.
