I have been so busy that I haven’t had time to write.
Writing is one of those things where the more you do it, the easier it gets. I have some things I’ve been thinking about, and I am taking the opportunity to hit publish.
I might be a bit rusty, but you gotta start somewhere.

I Love Working In Healthcare
Ever since I sold my stake in Stodzy last year, I’ve been roaming a bit more than usual. I’ve been experimenting with different ideas and trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
I thought I wanted to step away from healthcare, which is why I started my membership site.
Life has been teaching me, and it’s become obvious that my passion and my future are in building a healthcare marketing agency and media company that helps other healthcare professionals grow their businesses.
Why?
I’m really good at it. It’s always easier to do something you’re good at. My clients and customers are crushing it, and it feels great to deliver real results.
It’s a valuable skill. There aren’t many people who can do what I do at the level I do it.
It’s profitable. My skill set has real value because these industries create massive value in the marketplace. It’s rewarding to land work that actually moves the needle.
The more time goes by, the more I realize I’ve already found my passion. I’m already doing what lights me up the most, so I’m going to keep doing it.
There Are So Many A.I. Opportunities
I think most people are looking at AI all wrong.
AI isn’t that valuable on its own. In truth, I’m using it less and less. It’s a solid sidekick. I use it to proofread, review contracts, and create outlines. But there’s nothing I can do with ChatGPT or Claude that you can’t do. So it doesn’t create a lot of differentiation for me, other than streamlining annoying tasks.
The people who win with AI will be the ones who use it to solve specialized problems. Chase and I have been working hard on Directorly, and I’m seeing firsthand how AI, when applied to the right industry, can move entire industries forward.
We’re building some really cool products over the next few months. I can’t wait to show them to you.
I Miss Writing
I don’t know why, but I’ve always needed this.
For the last month, I’ve been holding a company meeting with my team every morning. This morning meeting has been a game changer, and I am very grateful for the organization and clarity this daily meeting brings to my company.
I can’t imagine not doing it now. It’s completely leveled us up.
But it’s come at a cost. I really miss writing my morning email. I’m not sure what it is about that process that’s so therapeutic, but I need to find a way to bring it back into my life more consistently.
I love the relationship I’ve built with you, and the way it sharpens my mind, keeps me curious, and keeps me of service.
I need this. I will find a way.
In Closing
One day, I will take a few days to write about everything I’ve gone through over the last two years. It’s been a whirlwind. I’ve learned some painful lessons and one day, I hope to share them with you.
But right here right now, I feel very aligned with my business, my family, my health, and my spirituality.
I feel good.
