Here we go…
This is the first issue of the Funday Monday. Let me start by saying thank you to the hand full of subscribers who signed up yesterday.
My mission is to create a weekly newsletter that people love and look forward to each Monday. Please feel free to reply and tell me what you like and don’t like.
Here we go.
I got into a bit of a Twitter war with all the bitcoin bros this week.
I don’t understand what they don’t understand. I’m not saying that Bitcoin is stupid, I’m just saying that it has no actual value. Bitcoin bros are ruthless.
I did have cool conversations with a few of them. One of them sent me this article and I did find it to be fascinating.
In the end, money is trust. That’s all it is.
I did some napkin math in my head. I probably walked close to 800 miles so far in 2020.
Some of my friends and I were talking about some of the great benefits of walking and we all made the correlation between walking and writing.
Walk until you need to write and then write until you need to walk.
It’s a great formula for success.
The worlds most famous YouTuber just opened up a fast food location called Mr. Beast Burgers. All 300 locations opened up at the same time and can be found through an iPhone app.
The Mr. Beast Burgers iPhone app quickly became the most downloaded app in the app store.
It appears that Mr. Beast worked with 300 small businesses that were struggling to stay open. So he created an app to drive traffic to these businesses.
I’m still trying to figure out exactly how it works, but it’s an amazing feat non the less.
Read of the Week
The Practice – Seth Godin released another book. It’s looking like this will be best seller number 18 for him.
As per usual, Seth Godin delivers. This book touches on the emotional aspects that go into creating and paints the picture of what it takes to conquer one’s inner creative on a daily basis.
Words to Live By
There’s never enough reassurance for the lizard brain.
The lizard brain’s job is to not be happy.

Hero of the Week
Shout out to these heroic idiots for creating what might be the dumbest video in history. We owe you a debt of gratitude.
They must be Russian.
What I’m Working On
This week is all about SEO and autoresponders.
I found about 700 zombie pages on Copyblogger that I need to delete and 410.
Also, operation kill HealthcareSuccess.com has started.
And last, I am pushing out the auto responders for my course that will be launching on Jan 30.
However, more than anything, this week is about family.
Jules and I are starting our drive to Philly this afternoon. We got an Airbnb in North Philly and hopefully we can safely see my family members. I miss them so much. I haven’t seen my family since my wedding.
This has been a tough year, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. So far, almost 2 million people have been vaccinated. That’s an incredible feat.
Things will get better and I am so excited for life ahead.
