I’m very concerned with the current state of online education.
People create courses and market them without any care for whether their customers finish them or even find utility out of the course material they paid for.
That’s bothers me.
Don’t you care that people were inspired enough to finish your course from beginning to end? Don’t you want your work to matter?
I’ve been very concerned about this and it’s a large reason as to why I’ve been slow to get my coaching and membership programs off the ground.
I want to create lasting value and I want to have a reputation built around my body of work. It matters to me that people get something useful from me. It matters to me that my members feel connected and feel a part of what we are doing together.
So I’m creating an “accountability corner” of my community. Once a month, the group will go over everyone’s commitments and see where we fell short or where we exceeded expectations.
This community will be a way for us to look out for each other. Your success is my success.
I’m not interested in building a personal brand. I’m interested in building a tribe.
